Signing Responses

This article explains how to sign and submit a response in Artifik.

This article covers the following topics:

In Artifik, most responses must be signed before submission. There are exceptions.

You must sign when submitting the first, revised, and final offers in competitions. You do not need to sign when submitting qualification applications and market surveys.

Artifik will clearly inform you whether signing is required or not. 

Important: The response is not submitted until the signing is completed. We recommend signing and submitting the response at least 3 hours before the deadline, so you have time to get support if problems occur.

Choose a signing method

When you are ready to submit the response, select the signing method at the bottom of the Summary and Signing tab. 

 

 

You can choose to:

  • Sign with BankID
  • Sign with SMS or email code

Click Start signing process to proceed.

Start the signing process

A confirmation window will then open where you can choose to continue with signing or cancel.

  • Click Sign to start the signing process with the method you selected. 

  • Click Cancel to abort and have the option to change the selected signing method. 

 

 

Information: You must complete the signing process without canceling for the response to be submitted.

Complete the signing

You will then be taken to a page where you can view the document you need to sign. 

At the top right, you will find options to select zoom, language, download, and to cancel. On the far right is the button you press to continue signing:

When you press Sign, a new dialog window opens where you can review the document you are signing, and all offer documents with unique identifier.

Check the box for I have read and understood the presented documents and am ready to sign before you can proceed.

 

 

Click Continue at the bottom right. 

Sign with BankID

Follow the steps shown in the BankID window to complete the signing.

Fill in: 

  • national identity number

  • one-time code

  • password or use the mobile app to complete the signing. 

Sign with SMS

In the next screen, enter your phone number.

 

 

 

You will then receive a one-time code sent to the phone number or email you provided. You have 3 minutes to enter this code in the field and click Confirm to complete the signing.

Information: 
When using signing with SMS, the phone number you enter must be identical to the one registered in Artifik. If not, you will not be able to complete the signing.

Confirmation of submitted offer

When the signing is complete, a confirmation appears in the Summary and Signing tab. The response is now submitted.

 

 

You will also receive a confirmation by email. The response can be downloaded as a ZIP file to verify what was submitted.
